The Junior League of Northern Westchester Annual Campaign

The Annual Campaign, launched in June  2009, gives you the opportunity to support the League's mission through charitable donations.  It allows us to grow our community outreach programs and our training programs to provide the strongest community volunteers possible.  Your support is critical to our continued success. As a donor to the Junior League of Northern Westchester, your gift will be combined with funds raised through various JLNW events. These fundraising efforts teamed with our trained volunteers, ensure maximum impact of your gift.

Double Your Donation:  If your employer has a Matching Gift Program, help us increase funds by asking your employer to match your gift to the JLNW.  Please consider this in addition to your gift. Donations at all levels are most welcome!

Membership support of the annual campaign
Full Membership participation in the annual fund is encouraged. Any amount is appreciated. Members are asked to think about all that we’ve learned, the impact our League has had on our community, and the friends we’ve made.  We should reflect upon the meaning that the League has brought to our lives and to the lives of others. Then, think about how a contribution to the annual fund can reflect that meaning.

Annual Campaign Funds, donations from League members and generous supporters, are revenues outside of our  dues and fundraising events. We are aiming for 100% Member participation, and over time, our goal is to increase the Annual Campaign’s percentage of total League revenue.

Unrestricted Gift Giving
Annual Campaign Funds are comprised of unrestricted funds given to support an organization within a fiscal year. “Unrestricted” funds are contributions which can be used for any program supported by the organization. The “fiscal year” is any annual period, without regard to the calendar year, at the end of which an organization determines its financial condition. The Junior League of Northern Westchester’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30.
